Contractor Photo Report support

Help with photo markup, independent app and PDF languages, subscriptions, report deletion, and local storage without iCloud sync.

Create a report

Start a Pro subscription or an eligible App Store trial, create a job, and add an issue. Add Before or After photos and review your notes. Each photo category shows its image count. Open Reports to adjust the layout and generate a PDF. Use Share or Save to Files to deliver it. This app does not require a separate account.

Mark up photos

Use the pen to draw directly on a photo, choosing a color and stroke width. Add text in small, medium, or large sizes, or use blur and solid redaction. Save your changes and inspect the result before sharing. The original photo is kept separately; exporting the original does not apply your redactions.

Choose app and PDF languages

App Language and PDF Report Language are separate settings. Both support English, Spanish, German, French, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. App Language defaults to Follow System, with English as the fallback when no supported language matches. A manual choice is saved and updates the app interface without a restart. System permission dialogs and Apple’s purchase screens are controlled by iOS and the App Store.

Until you explicitly choose a PDF default, new jobs use the current app language. Once you choose a PDF language, it stays fixed for new jobs even if you change the app language. Existing jobs retain their own report settings; change their language in the report layout options when needed. Report language affects fixed headings, labels, and date formatting. Your own text stays unchanged, and saved PDFs are not regenerated automatically.

The website’s support and privacy pages are available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Spanish, German, and French app interfaces open the English pages.

Purchases, trials, and restoring access

Pro offers monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. Creating or editing content and generating new PDFs require an active subscription or eligible trial. The purchase screen shows the current App Store price, billing period, and any trial available to your Apple Account. A trial renews into a paid subscription unless cancelled; review Apple’s confirmation before subscribing. Trial eligibility and duration depend on the offer returned by the App Store.

Open Settings to restore purchases or manage your Apple subscription. Restore Purchases checks subscription access with Apple; it does not recover deleted jobs, photos, or reports. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. Deleting local content or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

After expiry, you can still read and delete existing records, export photos, and open or share previously generated PDFs. New content, edits, and new PDFs require an active entitlement.

Delete a generated report

Use the delete action for that PDF in Reports. Deleting a generated PDF does not delete the job or its source photos. Copies already shared or saved outside the app must be managed separately.

Voice and permissions

Voice input begins only when you start it. Stopping speech leaves a transcript to review; apply it to the field you are editing. You can type instead if microphone or speech permission is unavailable. The app does not keep a recording archive. Recognition availability depends on the device and language. Location is optional. Manage system permissions in iOS Settings.

Local storage and iCloud

Jobs, photos, and PDFs are stored on your device. The app does not sync its job library through iCloud and has no cloud account or team backend. Device backups may include local app data depending on your system settings; this is separate from live synchronization. Photos you export to the system photo library may sync through iCloud Photos if enabled.

Keep copies of reports and photos you need before deleting content or removing the app. Exported copies remain in their destination and are not removed by clearing the app. Restoring purchases restores subscription access only, not your job library.

Feedback

Describe the steps and the error message; include your app/iOS version if useful. Do not send customer names, addresses, coordinates, photos or reports unless necessary and authorized. The app’s feedback action opens a mail draft; it does not send automatically.
